Leaders are readers, something like that

Remember when you were kids and your parents made you do things you didn’t want, so as you grew older you rebelled against doing them because same. Except, reading wasn’t one of them, so I guess what am saying is, thanks mom for making me read. There is so many reasons I love to read one being the freedom to read and read what I want when I want, which am truly thankful for. I always found myself giving the excuse that I wanted to read more but I just didn’t have time. So this year I made it a goal to read more, if that meant just reading two pages a day. You see I came to the realization we all have 24 hours a day, time doesn’t fly or become short for some people - if it‘s important one will find a way. It’s not that we don’t have time, it‘s that it is not a priority.

Below are books I have read this year, some I loved (**), some I liked, and some took some motivation to finish - but I enjoyed getting lost in all of them. This one was really hard to chose, but I have to say my favorite book to read in 2019 was Born A Crime by Trevor Noah.

To wrap up 2019, I also decided to include films I watched in theater. The love of movies is something I recently found about myself, so I have definitely watched more movies this year that didn‘t come with a movie ticket, but the idea of keeping a list came a little too late.
