More like a post-graduation post; hey, better late than never. This handsome, adorable, cute, stylish boy above is my amazing brother. He graduated about a few weeks ago from Pre-K. Graduation day was the last thing on my mind when I was leaving high school last year. I didn't want to attend graduation at all. When I grew up in Kenya, the schools I attended didn't have graduation, so to me, it wasn't that big of a deal. The only time one graduated was from a university. I felt like people made it a bigger deal than it was supposed to be. But when you are on the other side of the special day, you get to take a picture on a different lens. Attending my brother's graduation was pretty dope, seeing my brother walk up to receive a paper, pose and smile for a picture, cheer on his classmate, and sing a song was just so momentous. Now I understand the joy the people supporting me felt when I walked on stage on graduation day. It may not have been a big deal to me but it was a cherishable moment to someone else. As life goes on, I have come to the realization that life happens in a flash, you gotta enjoy the people around you special days, even the "not a big deal" ones. Kindergarten you are in for a surprise!
