Good Ol' Days

Time flies, one moment you are here next moment you are somewhere wondering where the time went. The days I would sit in class with one of my good friend, we would look at each other and just laugh for no reason. The day we both walked across the stage excited for each other even though we knew we were going separate ways. The organizations that drew the last straw but taught me leadership skills in the meantime. The teachers who were teachers during class time but also cracked jokes with you during lunch. The days my friends and I spent the whole lunchtime ranting. The camp changed my perspective and influenced me to be a YL leader. The mission trip where I met some of my good college friends. Attending the school I never saw myself going. Just a few weeks ago I went to the modern art museum with my sister and saw her turn me into art. Man, the good ol' days. I love the days when I walk down memory lane and smile at the memories I made. It shows me that the good in my life outweighs the bad in my life. You ever laugh at those days that frustrated you or you cried because of something (that you see is small now, but wasn't the day you got angry) - because same. I guess what I am trying to say is enjoy every day - make every moment count, so when you look back someday you can say, "here is to the good ol' days."
