ABCs of My Life

Updated: May 11, 2021

I might as well use this free time to challenge my thoughts before I only have limited free time in a few coming days to blog. I have never thought about the ABCs of my life, but as I was eating breakfast this morning, I thought why not see if I can finish the whole alphabet. Honestly, it's not like I have anything better to do with my time.

Africa: My favourite continent.

Brown: My skin and eye colour.

Chai: My favourite tea (the Kenyan version, not this other version).

Dance: Drop the music and you will find me making moves. I love to dance but I am not a pro.

Education: My key, I try to learn as much as I can while I can.

Family: My people. I spend more time with my family than anyone I know. Shout out to my extended fam in Kenya. My fam is my heart.

God: The center of my life. My everything!!

Hope: Keeps me going.

Identity: Rests in my heavenly father God.

Joshua: If you have not met my brother, I don't know what you are doing. This boy will have you cracking on the floor. My favourite boy.

Kenyan: My humble beginning. My nationality. Where it all began and proud of it!

Lesley: My best friend, always by my side on almost all my adventures. No job I take seriously other than being her role model. I hope she knows that she is my role model too. Thanks for supporting 1C1G.

Music: Other than calling my family, the only reason I use my phone. If Spotify had a contest on who listens to music the most, I would probably win.

Nappy: My hair, which I love. Got tired of combing it, so I chopped it off. I enjoy the short nappy hair thou, like keeping it natural.

One child one gift: Founder and very passionate about this nonprofit organization. Thanks to my biggest supporters; my family.

Pops: Thanks dad for believing I had the capabilities to start a nonprofit organization and being my first supporter.

Queen: Mother dearest. Mom, you are my African Queen!

Respect: I respect myself, then I respect others as I should be respected. As my sis always says, "if you don't respect yourself, how do you expect others to respect you."

Salome: She doesn't need coffee, she is the coffee. Her energy is my favourite thing about her. My 3-year-old sis knows how to put a smile on my face. Love her little curious, sassy, energetic, etc, self.

Thanks: To God for everything!

Ugali: My favourite Kenyan food

Violet: A blessing. Momma, I can sit here and write a book about you, but you already know how it is. Thanks for everything. I love you, momma.

Write: My favourite thing to do. In my free times, I write letters.

Xmas: Santa skips my house every year because he already knows I am blessed with everything I need. I am not much of a gift person; am more of a giver than a receiver. Yet, Xmas is still my favourite holiday. I love the lights and the smell of Christmas.

Youth: Gotta enjoy while I still can. Time has no receipt. Make the best out of every day.

Zealous: I try my very best to give my 100% in everything I do. I try to show passion for the things I do I my life because I know it a blessing and an opportunity.
